What does “premium ingredients” mean?I’m passionate about using the highest-quality ingredients possible to create baked goods that are not only delicious, but also made with care and intention. Between 90–100% of the ingredients I use are either USDA Organic or certified non-GMO. This helps reduce exposure to pesticides and chemicals, while also supporting a more sustainable food system. I also use grass-fed dairy for its richer flavor and environmental benefits. One exception is Belgian chocolate. While not certified organic or non-GMO, it is Fairtrade certified and known for its exceptional quality, ethical sourcing, and smooth, balanced flavor. I’ve chosen it because it meets my standards for both taste and values.

What is small batch baking?I specialize in small batch baking because quality is of utmost importance to me. By focusing on small batches, I ensure that every baked good is consistently delicious each time you order, without taking any shortcuts. This approach allows me to dedicate the necessary time and attention to every detail, ensuring that each product meets the high standards my clients have come to expect.

Do you provide allergen-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, or vegan alternatives?While I take care to prevent cross-contamination, I do not currently offer dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, vegan, or allergen-free options.

Can I request personalized designs?I do not offer custom designs or decorative themes at this time.

What areas do you serve?Sweet Comforts Bakery is licensed to serve Lacey and Olympia. If you're outside these areas and prefer not to pick up your order, please fill out the contact form below. I’m happy to see how I can help.

How do I place an order?To place an order, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page to email me directly. I will respond within 24 hours.

How much advance notice is required for an order?I prefer at least 3 days' notice after order confirmation, but I’ll do my best to accommodate urgent requests when possible.

Are there order minimums?Yes. Cookies are 6 per flavor, cupcakes are 1 dozen per flavor, sweet rolls are 6 per flavor, and muffins are 4 per flavor. All other items are sold individually. If I am at an event, items will be available individually, but please note that selection and quantity will be limited.

What is your policy for order cancellations and returns?Cancellations made with at least 7 days’ notice from scheduled pickup or delivery will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations made with less than 7 days but up to 48 hours’ notice from scheduled pickup or delivery will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice from scheduled pickup or delivery will forfeit any refund. All sales are final. However, your satisfaction matters to me, so if there’s an issue with your order, please reach out within 24 hours, and I’ll do my best to make it right.

Do you have a loyalty program?Yes! Loyalty cards are provided with your first order. For each subsequent order, present your Loyalty Card to be marked upon pickup or delivery.

What payment methods do you accept?I accept cash, NFC, and credit card payments.

Is delivery available for orders?Yes, delivery is available for an added fee. If you’re interested in delivery, please include your address when filling out the contact form so I can provide availability and pricing.

What is the best way to store items from my order?To keep your baked goods at their best, follow these storage guidelines: Baked goods (breads, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, pies, etc.): store at room temperature in an airtight container. They will remain fresh for 2-3 days. Keep them away from heat and direct sunlight to preserve freshness, flavor, and texture. Candies: store at room temperature in an airtight container. They will remain fresh for at least 1 month. Fudge: store at room temperature in an airtight container. It will remain fresh for at least 2 weeks. If you prefer a firmer fudge, store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
